The 2017 NSW Landcare and Local Land Services Conference will be held from Wednesday 25th to Friday 27th October, at the Albury Entertainment Centre, Albury. The Conference is being hosted by Landcare NSW and Murray LLS, and is being coordinated in partnership with local Landcare and community groups.

This conference is the premier event to showcase sustainability, Landcare and volunteering across NSW and includes the annual Landcare Muster and the NSW State Landcare Awards. Don’t miss this chance to gather with around 300 people from Landcare and community groups, farmers, Aboriginal groups, industry and government representatives from across NSW and Australia.

The theme for the Conference is ‘Sharing our Stories’. Conference topics will focus on agriculture, biodiversity, water and Aboriginal Landcare.

Renowned science communicator, Dr Karl Kruszelnicki, will be the keynote speaker at the conference. Dr Karl is best-known for his weekly radio spot on Triple J, in which he answers listener questions about science in his unique and entertaining style. His appearance at the conference is a highlight of what promises to be a memorable three days.

The Gala Dinner and Awards Night will be held on Thursday 26th October, with winners of this year's NSW Landcare Awards being announced.
